What We Collect:

Automatic currency by country

When you visit pricing, if our server can identify your public IP address it uses ipwho.is to estimate your country; otherwise, your browser uses geojs.io. These are alternative lookup routes, not providers both contacted on every visit. This does not use GPS or ask for browser location permission. Server-side IP-to-country results are temporarily cached in memory for up to one hour; browser-side lookups are not cached by our server. We do not put your IP address in the page or use this lookup to build a user profile. The relevant service provider may process your IP under its own privacy practices.

Third Parties:

We use tools like Google Analytics and YouTube embeds. We do not sell personal data.

Optional Offline Download

Eligible subscribers may choose to download approved reference material for temporary offline use through the Drone Companion website or installed progressive web app. The download may include the Get Settings questionnaire and recommendation tools, checklists, Knowledge Centre material and local calculators, drone articles and images, a read-only Flight School snapshot, and a read-only copy of the subscriber's saved drone-settings profiles.

Subscription and Reconnection Requirements

An active eligible subscription and an internet connection are required to download or renew offline access. Offline access lasts for up to seven days after the most recent successful subscription verification and may end sooner if the applicable paid subscription period, trial period, or payment grace period ends. The application must reconnect to the internet at least once every seven days to verify continued eligibility. Cancellation, expiry, refund, payment failure, loss of eligibility, or termination of a subscription may prevent renewal and may cause downloaded content to be removed when the application next connects.

Information Stored on the Device

Downloaded content is stored in that browser or installed application's local site storage and cache. It is specific to the device and browser used for the download. A separate download may be required on another device or browser. Downloaded content may be removed when the subscriber logs out, deletes the offline pack, clears site data, uninstalls the application, loses subscription eligibility, or when the browser or operating system clears stored data.

Live Flight Information Is Not Available Offline

Drone Companion does not download maps, map tiles, live weather, airspace information, NOTAMs, aircraft positions, live restrictions, authentication credentials, or payment information for offline use. Offline settings and reference material do not confirm that a flight is safe or legal. The pilot remains responsible for reconnecting and checking current weather, airspace, restrictions, NOTAMs, aircraft activity, applicable regulations, and official sources before every flight.

Disclaimer: The map supports flight planning and is not an airspace authorisation. Drone Companion is not liable for any inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated airspace information displayed, including but not limited to No-Fly Zones (NFZ), Flight Restriction Zones (FRZ), and other airspace restrictions. Airspace data can change at short notice and may not reflect real-time changes. It is the pilot's sole responsibility to verify all airspace restrictions before every flight using official sources such as the CAA, NATS or their national aviation authority.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a leading payment processing platform. We do not store your payment information on our servers. Stripe is PCI DSS compliant and follows industry best practices for handling payment data.

Subscription Plans

Drone Companion is a UK-registered business. All subscriptions are priced in British Pounds (GBP):

• Monthly subscription: £4.99 per month
• Annual subscription: £50.00 per year
• All subscriptions include a 24-hour free trial period
• Payment is collected automatically after the trial period ends

For customers outside the UK, your payment will be converted to your local currency at checkout based on current exchange rates. You can view estimated prices in other currencies on our Pricing page.

Billing Cycle

Your billing cycle begins when your free trial ends. For monthly subscriptions, you will be charged every 30 days from your trial end date. For annual subscriptions, you will be charged every 365 days from your trial end date. All charges are processed in advance.

Payment Methods

We accept all major credit cards and debit cards through Stripe, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Some regions may have additional payment methods available.

Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to process it again over the next few days. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be suspended until payment is successful. You will receive email notifications about failed payments.

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account profile page. Click on the "Manage Subscription" section and select "Cancel Subscription". Your cancellation will take effect immediately.

Access After Cancellation

After cancellation, you will retain access to all premium features until the end of your current billing period. For example, if you cancel on the 15th day of a monthly subscription, you will continue to have access until the 30th day.

Refund Policy

We offer a 24-hour free trial so you can fully evaluate our service before being charged. Due to the digital nature of our service and the trial period provided, we do not offer refunds for subscription fees once payment has been processed.

Reactivation

You can reactivate your subscription at any time by visiting our pricing page and selecting a new subscription plan. Please note that reactivation will be treated as a new subscription and will not restore previous trial benefits.

Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your account entirely, please contact us atsupport@dronecompanion.co. Account deletion will permanently remove all your data and cannot be undone.

No Data Collection

Drone360 does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There is no account creation, no login, and no server communication. All photos are processed and stored locally on your device only.

Photo Library & File Access

The app accesses your device's photo library and file system only when you explicitly choose to import a photo. This access is used solely to display and edit your selected images within the app. No photos are uploaded, shared, or stored externally.

No Analytics or Tracking

Drone360 contains no analytics, no tracking, no advertising SDKs, and no third-party data sharing of any kind.

Sharing

When you choose to share a photo using the app's share function (for example, sharing a 360 panorama to Facebook), the photo is sent directly from your device to the destination platform using your device's standard share sheet. No data passes through Drone Companion servers.

Eligibility

To unlock Drone360 for free, you must hold an active, paid Drone Companion subscription at the time of redemption. Free trials alone do not qualify. Your free trial period must have ended and at least one successful subscription payment must have been processed before the free unlock becomes available.

Permanence of the Unlock

Once Drone360 has been successfully unlocked on a device, access remains free for as long as the app remains installed on that device. Cancelling your Drone Companion subscription after unlocking does not revoke access to Drone360. However, the unlock is tied to the device on which it was redeemed; reinstalling the app on a new device may require an active subscription to unlock again.

Standalone Purchase

Drone360 is also available as a standalone one-time purchase on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store, independent of any Drone Companion subscription. Standalone purchasers are not subject to the subscription eligibility conditions above.

Changes to the Offer

Drone Companion Ltd reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free member unlock offer at any time. Any such changes will not affect unlocks that have already been redeemed prior to the change.
