Drone Preflight Checklist
The checklist separates preflight preparation into four groups so you can see what is still outstanding before takeoff. Your ticks and progress are kept in the browser until you reset them.
Weather and equipment
The Weather & Environment group asks about current conditions, wind within the aircraft's limits, visibility and expected precipitation. Equipment checks cover firmware, drone, controller and phone batteries, SD card, propellers and gimbal.
Flight and fallback plan
Review the route, obstacles, emergency landing areas, expected battery time and return-to-home altitude. The final group prompts you to check the takeoff area, bystanders, controller connection and GPS lock.
Keep track, then reset
Tick items individually and see overall and per-group progress. Reset the list for the next flight rather than carrying yesterday's checks forward. Pair it with the live weather and Safety Map when those conditions matter.
Access and limitations
The checklist requires a subscription. A completed list is not an equipment inspection, legal clearance or substitute for your aircraft manual and on-site judgement.
