Airspace Safety Map
The Safety Map combines several planning layers in one interactive view. Tap a location to review available restrictions and hazards for that point before deciding where to fly.
Understand the airspace layers
UK flight restriction zones come from the official NATS dataset. US restricted and prohibited areas and UAS facility grids draw on FAA datasets; OpenAIP supplements coverage elsewhere. The map distinguishes a confirmed restriction from an advisory area that calls for further checking.
Look for time-sensitive information
Toggle available NOTAMs, ground hazards, protected-site information and nearby aircraft. NOTAM coverage depends on the available feeds and may not include every notice. The aircraft layer uses community ADS-B feeds, so aircraft without a transmitting or received signal may be absent.
Inspect a particular location
Tap a point to see available zone details, limits and nearby context instead of relying only on map colours. FAA facility grid ceilings are planning information, not a LAANC authorisation; check the notice timing and relevant authority before flight.
Access and limitations
The subscribed map needs a connection. Coverage and feed availability vary by area and time; an empty map is not permission to fly. The map cannot grant clearance.
